This book takes the form of a photographic coverage of the Israeli Air Force (IAF). The all English narrative text includes a small introduction to each sub-section and the photo captions. All of the images are in color and run quite big, with two to four in a page. The coverage has been sub divided into sections that deal with either a specific type or a specific role. Those covered therefore include fighters (F-4, F-15 and F-16 types), attack helicopters (AH-1 and AH-64), assault helicopters (CH-53, UH-1N, UH-60), transport aircraft (Boeing 707 and C-130), light transport, maritime aviation and UAV's. The text also covers specific departments like the Air Force Academy, maintenance, armament and final section looks at historic type still flying with the IAF Museum. This is a useful title, well produced and with excellent quality photographs.
The book can be recommended to all with an interest in modern aviation or for those with a specific interest in the Israeli Air Force.
